About the Position

The Member Retention Specialist is a crucial role within our organization, focused on promoting our products and services to existing members and those looking to leave. This includes welcoming new members, saving existing members who wish to cancel, and winning back members who have left.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome newly joined members and ensure their membership is set up correctly.
  • Contact members who are looking to leave with the aim of servicing and retaining them.
  • Assist members in understanding and reviewing their cover.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Undertake training, development, and multi-skilling as required.
  • Participate in regulatory compliance activities.

About You

We seek a proactive, solutions-focused individual with outstanding customer service skills. You will have experience in a contact centre, preferably within private health insurance, and possess computer literacy, PC skills, and ability to use Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM.

You will be a positive and enthusiastic team player with a willingness to adapt to change, self-evaluate, and take constructive feedback. A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and sales is essential.
