Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer and Test Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying hardware & software defects and inconsistencies in functionality against defined performance measures.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, and the ability to work independently on projects, as well as lead a program of work, working closely with Senior Engineers and Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop test procedures aligned to system and subsystem requirements
  • Conduct dry run of test scripts and formal testing to verify system stability and functionality prior to formal Systems Acceptance Testing (SAT)
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure system has not regressed after software updates and changes have been made to the system
  • Develop Test Plans (Both Functional and non-Functional) and prepare and issue system test reports
  • Assist with system integration activities and assist in maintaining configuration control in the test environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, preferably in Science or Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within a systems test, software testing and processes environment in large projects
  • Excellent Communication, Documentation and Record Keeping skills a must
