High Voltage Engineering Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the commissioning of substation primary plant and secondary systems with high accuracy and precision.
This role will involve providing expert technical consultancy and management services through the application of well-developed engineering capabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess high-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as a collaborative working style.
Key responsibilities include developing commissioning plans, outage plans, inspection and test plans, and secondary works programs for staging and managing substation primary plant and secondary system commissioning projects.
A strong ability to clearly articulate and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders is essential.
Requirements:- Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering category
- Full working rights within Australia essential
- 8+ years of experience in the delivery of multi-discipline complex high voltage grid connection projects with a background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment
- Dedicated, driven and hard working, going above and beyond to solve problems and meet critical deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels and successfully negotiate with and influence senior level stakeholders
