Job Title: Data Management Lead

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Lead to join our team.

About the Role:
  • This role involves leading data management activities to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • You will be responsible for managing multiple large datasets throughout the data lifecycle, collaborating with technical specialists and business stakeholders.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Management: Manage data from collection to storage, ensuring it is accurate, complete, and compliant.
  2. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimise data management processes, improving data quality, governance, and re-use.
  3. Communication: Influence stakeholders on complex matters, communicating technical concepts to various audiences.
  4. Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Mentorship: Mentor junior data specialists and contribute to leadership of the immediate team.
  6. Capability Building: Contribute to capability-building initiatives, developing policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in data management, data analysis, and data science.
  • Highly developed attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences.
  • Experience in influencing stakeholders and developing relationships.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data re-use.
Working with Us:
  • The organisation is a hybrid workplace, requiring employees to attend the office at least 40% of workdays.
  • Able to travel domestically at least once per year.
