About The Role:

As an appointment setter, you will be responsible for identifying key decision-makers, conducting market research, and setting qualified appointments for our business development and sales teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who excels in communication, research skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients attending key trade shows and expos.
  • Create and maintain lists of prospects using online directories, exhibitor lists, and LinkedIn.
  • Makes outbound calls and sends personalized emails to introduce our services.
  • Qualify leads based on criteria provided by the sales team.
  • Book appointments with decision-makers and update CRM with accurate lead data.
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with the head of lead generation and marketing team to align messaging.
  • Track performance and report on key metrics weekly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation.
  • Excellent research skills – able to independently source leads and verify information.
  • Strong communication skills – clear, engaging, and persuasive.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or similar).
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience in the exhibitions/events/marketing industry is a plus but not required.
