About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide support services to students. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counselling) and relevant work experience;
  • Or a diploma in a relevant area and relevant work experience;
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide professional services in multiple service areas, including international student support, disability advice, and personal counselling;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code 2017;
  • Experience in developing and delivering programs, resources, and workshops to students.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support services to students, including:

  • International student support: Providing assistance with academic matters, cultural adaptation, and integration into the academic community;
  • Disability advice: Offering guidance and support to students with disabilities, ensuring equal access to education;
  • Personal counselling: Providing confidential counselling services to students on academic, personal, and emotional issues;
  • Program development: Collaborating with staff to develop and deliver programs, resources, and workshops that meet the diverse needs of students.
