Job Overview

The Water Industry Plant Operator/Labourer is responsible for maintaining and constructing water and wastewater systems. This role involves operating a range of machinery and equipment, construction of water and wastewater infrastructure, and assisting in the installation of water and wastewater assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the undertaking of construction/maintenance activities by operating machinery and equipment
  • Ensure quality standards are met in the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Assist in the installation of water and wastewater assets to meet quality standards
Requirements:
  • Current MR licence
  • Machinery/plant licences (e.g. excavator)
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Up-to-date Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus immunisations or willingness to undertake immunisations within one month of commencement
