Job Title

Water Industry Plant Operator/Labourer

Job Description

As a Water Industry Plant Operator/Labourer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and constructing water and wastewater systems. You will be responsible for operating a range of machinery and equipment, contributing to the undertaking of construction/maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery and equipment to support construction/maintenance activities
  • Contribute to the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Assist in the installation of water and wastewater assets
RequirementsEssential Skills and Qualifications
  • Current MR licence
  • Current machinery/plant licences (e.g., excavator)
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus immunisations or willingness to undertake immunisations within one month of commencement
Nice to Have
  • Provide First Aid/CPR
  • Work Safely at Heights
  • Trim and Cut Felled Trees (Chainsaw Level 2)
  • High risk work licence (Forklift operation)
  • Traffic Implementation (Level 2)
  • SWNELP
  • Confined Spaces Certification
  • Basic Computer Skills
