Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled heavy vehicle operator to join our team. This role requires the operation of a crane to lift and move objects, as well as delivering and picking up props from sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a crane to lift and move objects safely and efficiently
  • Deliver and pick-up props from sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Maintain props and stock counts of precast props, identifying any discrepancies or issues
  • Inspect crane equipment and carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
  • Load and unload precast props with either a 3t truck crane or forklift, adhering to safety protocols
  • General collection and transport of other items as directed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

Essential Qualifications:

  • Heavy Combination Truck Licence
  • High Risk Forklift License (Advantage)

Desirable Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role
  • Knowledge of mechanical and technical activities
  • Ability to focus and concentrate for long periods of time
  • Excellent spatial thinking and ability to judge distances
  • Ability to develop, improve and follow procedures and standards
  • Confident and respectful communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
