With over two decades of expertise in managing workers' compensation claims, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our new DXC team. This role presents a unique opportunity to leverage DXC's extensive claims management knowledge to benefit icare and the community in New South Wales.
The Senior Case Manager is responsible for overseeing the necessary interventions to ensure that high-risk cases achieve optimal recovery and return-to-work results. Collaborating closely with case managers, the Senior Case Manager will utilize advanced skills in injury management and return-to-work strategies, alongside exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities, to drive successful outcomes.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Proficient in gathering insights from various stakeholders to formulate effective case management strategies.
- Strong background in claims management within the New South Wales workers' compensation framework.
- Experience in preparing for and participating in claims reviews and clinical case discussions to facilitate positive outcomes.
- Familiarity with medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including applicable treatment methods for injuries.
- Well-honed problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
