Senior Financial Leadership Opportunity

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of driving business growth and improving financial performance.

About the Role:
  • Lead a high-performing team of accountants to drive innovation and continuous improvement in financial planning and analysis.
  • Oversight of the finance functions within the organization, with line management responsibilities for three qualified accountants.
  • Develop and implement effective budgeting methodologies and processes that meet stakeholder needs and timetables.
  • Drive business case development to support strategic initiatives and prepare an annual multi-year strategic forecast.
  • Continual improvement of forecasting processes and effective liaison with key stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ownership and design of the cost centre structure to optimize capabilities of MyWorkZone application.
  2. Effective management and maintenance of IBM Planning and Analytics application (TM1) to support enhanced budgeting and forecasting.
About You:
  • Proven leadership experience in developing and managing teams.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, and full membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or Certified Practising Accountants of Australia.
  • Highly developed skills in financial data management, manipulation, and presentation to support financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Experience in using accounting and BI reporting software such as TM1/Cognos.
  • Effective communication skills with proven capability to partner with senior management and negotiate budgets/project priorities.
