We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Support Workers within our Community Support Division. This position starts as a casual role with the potential for a permanent part-time opportunity. Our Support Workers are integral in providing high-quality care, assisting clients in leading fulfilling lives with dignity and respect.

Available Shifts:

  • Morning, day, evening, and weekend shifts.

As a Support Worker, your role will involve empowering individuals to reach their goals and aspirations through:

  • Social and recreational support
  • Domestic assistance
  • Personal care and medication management
  • Facilitating community access
  • Meal preparation
  • Maintaining client records
  • Building and sustaining professional relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders

Candidate Profile

  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse abilities and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and caring demeanor.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage challenging situations with composure.

Essential Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (preferred) or relevant experience in supporting individuals with diverse needs, including complex healthcare and behavioral support.
  • Valid Australian driver's license (minimum P2).
  • Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to acquire one.
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module or willingness to undertake training.
  • Working with Children Check (paid worker).
  • Reliable smartphone.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Outlook and MS Word.
