This is a pivotal role within our organization, centered on leveraging autonomous robotic systems to transform the resources sector. A driven individual with a keen eye for opportunity will thrive in this position.

The primary objective revolves around identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities in critical minerals, mining, oil, gas, and space resources industries. This entails collaborating with various stakeholders, both internally and externally, to secure lucrative contracts.

A key aspect of this role is developing a strategy aligned with our organization's long-term goals, subsequently driving us towards those objectives. The capture lead will spearhead efforts to secure new contracts, re-competes, and foster positive business relationships.

This involves working closely with industry partners, decision-makers, customers, and internal personnel to enhance capture success probability. As a business development specialist, you will design and refine processes aimed at future success.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business field
  • 5+ years of experience in business development and innovation within the resources sector or related field
  • Experience performing contract capture in the Australian Resources ecosystem
  • Prior knowledge and experience in the RFP process
  • Demonstrated success winning contracts
  • Knowledge of government policies and regulations impacting our operations in Australia
  • Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a leadership role performing contract capture
  • Deep knowledge of the resources industry and market with existing contact network
  • Previous experience innovating with emerging technologies in the resources sector
  • Contract negotiation or positioning experience
  • Australian citizen
