About Compliance Specialist Role

Ensuring alignment with internal protocols, industry policies, laws, and government regulations is a critical aspect of this position.

The role involves strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to increase awareness of compliance, controls, and assurance management. The specialist will conduct reviews as outlined by the Quality Assurance Framework, business contracts, regulators, and Allianz assurance frameworks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure operations align with contracts, laws, regulations, professional standards, and internal protocols.
  • Conduct regular reviews to identify and mitigate non-compliance issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of plans addressing current and emerging compliance issues.
  • Develop reporting for the business and Senior Management Team to monitor quality assurance and compliance performance.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to design and update procedures to mitigate risk of contractual or legislative breaches.
About Ideal Candidate
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline; industry accreditation required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Personal Injury in SME-based role.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant Commonwealth, State, and/or Territory legislative and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience developing and leading strategic initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
