**Ongoing Opportunity for a Mental Health Clinician**

Orygen @ Home, a program of the Mental Health Service at Royal Melbourne Hospital, is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join their multidisciplinary team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to provide comprehensive clinical acute mental health care to young people and families in Melbourne's northwest and western suburbs.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with young people and their families to provide individually tailored services, including mental state assessments, risk assessments, discipline-led interventions, medication, therapeutic interventions, family inclusive practices, vocational and educational support, intensive outreach, and crisis support.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Partner with young people and their families/carers to provide inpatient-like care within the home environment.
  • Provide discipline interventions and recovery-focused care in the home.
  • Demonstrate skills in mental health assessment, risk assessment, therapeutic interventions, least restrictive practices, and improved outcomes using evidence-based best practice.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and receive supervision and support through professional development.

**Requirements:**

  • A relevant qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, social work, or registered psychiatric nursing (with experience as a Mental Health Clinician).
  • Previous experience in clinical practice as a Mental Health Clinician, preferably with young people.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate client-centered individual service plans, risk assessments, and diagnostic formulations.
