As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and improving our range of sauces and UHT-processed products.

About the Role

Based at our site in Glenbervie and reporting into the Product Design Manager, you will progress assigned Process Design Projects: set up, supervise and report factory trials. This involves reviewing and optimising current operations to reduce costs, improve safety and quality.

  • Assess the impact of new equipment, raw materials, methods of manufacture, packaging etc.
  • Support the commissioning of new equipment.
  • Set up and communicate reprocessing materials and products as required.

Key qualifications include a science degree preferably in Food Processing/Food Science/Food Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or other relevant science subjects. Experience in sauce formulation and UHT processing is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing current operations with a view to optimise, improve efficiency and deliver continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating closely with customers, suppliers and other departments within the company.
