Key Role and Responsibilities

The Disability Service Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of inclusive services to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independently, participate actively in their community, and achieve their goals.

Purpose of the Role:

To lead a team in delivering exceptional service standards while fostering a culture of social inclusion for people living with disability.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing services within the disability sector or similar organisations.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of people with disability.
  • Deep understanding of complex disability, behaviour support and management.
  • Experience and understanding of the medical and social models of care.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated understanding of NDIS, the principles of Active support and human rights-based approach to service delivery.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills.
