The role of Electrical Engineer involves delivering real-time engineering support and playing a key part in planning and executing maintenance and repair activities for generation assets. To meet operational needs, timely engineering advice is essential to ensure assets remain available to meet market demands.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technically and commercially sound engineering advice that balances asset condition with business requirements.
- Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns by providing timely engineering advice to support fault diagnosis and resolution.
- Collaborating closely with the Maintenance team to provide engineering support and advice during planning and execution of maintenance activities.
- Contributing engineering expertise to condition assessments by leveraging historical data, inspections, and investigations.
- Engaging with on-site operations teams to exchange insights and drive improvements in asset performance.
