We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team in a role that offers the opportunity to make a real difference.

As an Asset Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of assets and facilities, providing leadership and operational support to maintenance projects and initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing the efficient maintenance of property and land-based assets, plant and equipment

- Providing cost-effective solutions and decision-making support

- Developing and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Ensuring optimal building and asset performance

- Collaborating with other teams to foster coordination and deliver continuous improvement

- Managing the delivery of room refurbishments and specific projects within business plans

You will be required to work on an on-call roster system during the year, shared across the business unit.

Key qualifications and attributes for this role include:

- A trade qualification in a maintenance discipline, facility management or engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience

- A driver's license

- 3 years of experience in a similar role

- Detailed knowledge and understanding of legislation related to buildings, workplace health and safety

- Knowledge of relevant building codes, planning regulations, and aged care regulations

- Demonstrated experience managing both internal employees and external suppliers

- Experience supervising and developing people in a maintenance position
