The Opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Major Projects division in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining a register of subcontractors and identifying key data for each subcontract
  • Selecting and evaluating subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet project requirements
  • Negotiating subcontractor agreements and ensuring alignment with project risk management principles
  • Overseeing the procurement process for subcontract and supply agreements to ensure timely and budget-friendly awards
  • Leading the identification and quantification of Head Contract Scope changes and negotiating with the Client
  • Managing disputes or major claims with subcontractors or the Client
  • Preparing and approving monthly progress claims for work completed and disputed progress payments to subcontractors

About You:

We're looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
  • Experience with industrial projects featuring significant M&E components
  • Significant experience in Contracts and Commercial Management on complex infrastructure projects
  • Strong leadership skills and experience leading contracts administration teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
