Business Development Specialist

The Business Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving strategic retail evolution, working at the heart of projects that shape how we operate, grow, and deliver for our customers.

This fast-paced environment requires a skilled professional who thrives in solving complex problems, translating business needs into clear insights, and mapping out current and future state processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements for various strategic projects
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to elicit detailed information regarding project objectives and deliverables
  • Identify common issues as problems and deliver solutions that will address root cause
  • Document requirements, test cases, and user documents
  • Support project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau)
  • Exposure to enterprise retail systems (e.g. Ecommerce, POS, ERP)
