About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Environment Engineer to join our team in Melbourne CBD & Inner Suburbs Melbourne VIC.

This is a permanent position with an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $180,000 AUD based on your experience and qualifications.

As our ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in systems engineering, computer science or related technical discipline, as well as experience with AWS or on-prem infrastructure, Jenkins, GitHub, Eclipse, Cloud security practice, control implementation and compliance, and DevOps processes and toolchains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the Environment Management & Governance strategy for the Tolling and Customer (GLIDe) Platform
  • Design and implement processes to ensure all environments are built and managed to the highest quality whilst being used by projects or programs or for platform maintenance and support
  • Manage and maintain cloud-based and on-premises environments to ensure optimal performance, security and availability to enable efficient change delivery
  • Escalation for environment incidents and problems
  • Establish and embed continuous improvement practices and feedback loops to capture and share learnings across other Customer Platform teams
  • Participate in the management of strategic vendor relationships and ensure compliance with agreed service levels
  • Develop a strong working relationship with business, customer & technology stakeholders to ensure a customer-obsessed approach and deep understanding of strategic goals and operational pain points
