Job Title:

Aircraft Structural Integrity Specialist

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Aircraft Structural Integrity (ASI) specialist to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of ASI principles and practices, with experience in managing and addressing issues related to aircraft structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and analyze usage and condition data to identify potential issues affecting aircraft structural integrity.
  2. Provide engineering support and expertise to ensure compliance with relevant Airworthiness Regulations and customer requirements.
  3. Participate in annual ASI working groups to discuss and disseminate safety issues impacting safe operation.
  4. Review reports such as SAFE, DMR, SCAR, and SLA to identify relevant actions.
  5. Conduct annual structural integrity assessments and biennial reviews of ASI management plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical, or equivalent qualification.
  • Engineers Australia Membership at the level of MIEAust.
  • 2+ years' experience in engineering structures or ASI field.
  • Working knowledge of Defence Aviation Regulations (DASR).
  • Experience in engagement with international programs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
