Practice Lead - Building Structures Expert

Overview

Establish a leading building structures practice across Australia, driving strategy, technical excellence and team development. Collaborate with clients and HDR's cross-disciplinary teams to expand our national footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement building structures strategy to grow the practice.
  • Build strong client relationships and secure major project wins.
  • Lead project delivery while developing client relationships and laying foundations for long-term team and business growth.
  • Oversee technical excellence and quality of building structural engineering across diverse sectors.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams aligned with HDR's values and technical standards.
  • Collaborate across business groups to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Actively lead as a member of the Building Engineering Services Leadership Team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 15+ years' experience in consulting engineering with relevant technical expertise and commercial acumen.
  • Professional registration and related technical experience required.
  • Experienced team leader and manager with ability to develop and manage diverse teams.
