Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to contribute to the successful delivery of major, high-profile projects. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale, complex projects across various sectors.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project & Site Management: Assist with project coordination and subcontractor management, ensuring on-time completion and quality adherence.
  • Design Management: Resolve design issues and provide technical input throughout both the design and construction phases.
  • Program Preparation & Administration: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring effective program management and delivery.
  • Site-Based Execution: Oversee cost management, quality assurance, and environmental controls on-site, ensuring compliance and reporting progress regularly.
  • Health & Safety Advocacy: Champion health and safety initiatives, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in building or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Strong technical skills with the ability to lead and solve complex problems.
  • Management Skills: Experience managing subcontractor performance and coordinating design processes.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of cost management, quality assurance, and environmental controls.
  • Commitment: A strong commitment to advocating and promoting health and safety standards.
