Our organization is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team in the Hornsby area. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing of older members of our community by providing home help services.

Responsibilities include general housekeeping, cleaning, meal preparation, social support, and transport to lifestyle activities. You will also assist family carers by providing them with respite care and allowing them time to focus on other aspects of their lives.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and has excellent communication skills. Your ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families is essential in this role.

In addition to your passion for care, you must hold an Open class Australian Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle. An interest in community care or aged care is preferred but not essential.

Job Description
  • Provide home help services to enhance the wellbeing of older members of our community.
  • Clean, mop, and vacuum floors.
  • Wash, fold, and iron laundry.
  • Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping.
  • Transport clients to lifestyle activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An Open class Australian Driver's Licence.
  • A reliable vehicle.
  • An interest in community care or aged care.
