Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aquatic Operations Coordinator to join our team. This key role involves leading and building a professional and engaged operations team, ensuring the delivery of safe and patron-friendly facilities in accordance with operational practices and industry guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team to ensure effective facility operations in line with quality systems and industry standards.
  • Act on patron feedback to enhance site operations and reduce negative perceptions.
  • Drive the physical appearance of the centre through strong contractor management relationships.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety processes and legislative regulatory standards.
  • Work across multiple sites and assist the Aquatic Operations Manager in investigating incidents.
  • Monitor OHS, risk, and environment performance, initiating actions to improve results.
  • Implement hazard inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions, maintaining all records.
  • Manage budgets and prepare required reports.
  • Maintain NPS and mystery shop scores in line with KPIs.
Requirements
  • Hold a qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an aquatic operations environment, with proven leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport and positive relationships.
  • Commitment to operational excellence with values such as integrity, excellence, openness, respect, leadership, and accountability.
