About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Marketing Campaign Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Communications and Corporate Affairs Group, you will play a vital role in building and leveraging media and strategic stakeholder relationships to enhance awareness and understanding of our mandate and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver impactful advertising campaigns that meet relevant guidelines.
  • Design and support communication strategies aligned with research insights.
  • Brief agencies (creative, research, media buying) and drive outcomes.
  • Oversee the development of media plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with consumer education campaign objectives.
  • Manage paid media campaigns, including benchmarking, tracking, and evaluation.
  • Prepare key campaign documentation, including briefs, submissions, and progress reports.
  • Supervise the execution, monitoring, and measurement of marketing campaigns and their success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of current marketing trends.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Australian Government advertising process preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing large-scale advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in briefing and managing research, creative, public relations, and media buying agencies.
  • Experience in government communications.
