Lead Finance Expert

A strategic finance leadership position is available at a reputable national organisation.

This pivotal role involves leading the finance function and driving high-quality insights, systems, and processes that inform strategic decisions and operational excellence.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial close, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Overseeing cash flow forecasting, treasury management, debtor management, and project bonding requirements.
  • Managing budgeting and forecasting processes in line with organisational goals.
  • Reviewing and challenging project financial summaries, cost-to-complete forecasts, and reconciliations.
  • Maintaining oversight of payroll approvals, controls, and reporting accuracy.
  • Driving process and system improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Ensuring compliance with all tax, audit, and statutory obligations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A CPA or CA qualification (essential).
  • Proven senior finance leadership experience, ideally in construction, engineering, or resources.
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting standards, compliance, and reporting.
  • A track record in cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience overseeing payroll, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
