Position Overview
As a Senior Engineer for Manufacturing Standards and Validation Documentation at Brambles, you will spearhead initiatives to develop and uphold manufacturing standards, validation protocols, and documentation practices across our international engineering teams. Your extensive knowledge in engineering standards and validation processes will be crucial in ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and industry benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the creation and execution of manufacturing standards, procedures, and guidelines to guarantee uniformity, quality, and compliance for all global manufacturing equipment.
- Establish validation methodologies for manufacturing processes and systems, including protocols for Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
- Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring precise record-keeping and traceability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality management systems.
- Continuously assess and refine operational specifications throughout project lifecycles, integrating feedback and adapting to changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create Statements of Work (SOWs) that accurately represent project requirements and milestones.
- Work with global teams to ensure consistency in manufacturing standards and validation processes across all sites.
- Implement Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to confirm system performance against established specifications.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing standards and validation practices, utilizing data-driven insights.
- Participate in audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Provide training and support to manufacturing teams on standards and validation processes, ensuring comprehension and adherence.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
Desirable:
- CCMP certification or equivalent experience
- Lean certification
Experience
- 8-10 years of proven experience in manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, validation, or documentation management within a global manufacturing context.
- Strong understanding of engineering standards and validation methodologies.
- Excellent project management capabilities and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing change control processes and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to diverse cultures and business practices in a global environment.
Skills and Knowledge
- Operations experience with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) processes.
- Certification in quality engineering or validation from recognized organizations.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.
- Experience with auditing processes for compliance and quality assurance.
- Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project.
