Investment Portfolio Manager

NXT GIG is a leading provider of financial services, seeking an experienced Investment Portfolio Manager to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing investment portfolios to meet client objectives.

  • Develop and implement investment strategies that maximize returns while mitigating risk.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and provide expert investment advice.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record in investment management. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required, with a Master's or relevant certification preferred. Experience as an Investment Portfolio Manager is essential, specifically in superannuation or related investment sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with client needs and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify investment opportunities and assess performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies that maximize returns while mitigating risk.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and provide expert investment advice.
  • Monitor economic trends and market developments, adjusting investment strategies as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on portfolio performance and investment strategies for stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation, trends, and changes in the investment landscape.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master's or relevant certification (CFA, CAIA) preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Investment Portfolio Manager, specifically in superannuation or related investment sectors.
  • Strong understanding of investment principles, portfolio management, and financial markets.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling tools.
  • Effective communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
