Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our customers' networks. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to customers via phone, chat, and web-based solutions.

  • Provide technical assistance to customers via various communication channels.
  • Offer on-site troubleshooting assistance when required at the customer's location.
  • Collect, analyze, and investigate reported problems; recommend corrective actions and provide resolutions through debugging, packet captures, and traffic flow analysis.
  • Reproduce customer environments on lab equipment for duplication and problem resolution.
  • Communicate with the Engineering/Development team to report and resolve product issues.
  • Own and manage technical cases and provide corrective actions based on analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Develop core competency on Fortinet's product line and technologies.
  • Assist the Professional Services team as needed, including developing a clear understanding of customer requirements (project scope, technical requirements, and solution design).
  • Be responsible for the delivery and administration of assigned Professional Services engagements, including creation of Statements of Work, daily/weekly summary reports, and effective communication of project information to Fortinet management.
