As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging learning experiences that foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in children.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families to promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and open communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement high-quality educational programs aligned with the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of policies and procedures that support the well-being and safety of children and staff.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice and stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
- Relevant degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates.
- VIT Registration.
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).
