This position has been created as part of the recently implemented KU Children's Services Teachers Enterprise Agreement 2025, a landmark development that continues to set new standards within the early childhood education sector. This new agreement reflects KU's ongoing commitment to excellence in educator conditions and professional practice. The Hours and Service:

Opened in January 2024, our architecturally designed, purpose-built kindergarten is located on the grounds of Koo Wee Rup Primary School, offering families – and staff – a convenient and connected community hub. As a government-funded sessional kindergarten, we're proud to deliver a high-quality program that empowers children to thrive.

This opportunity will see you join the team 7.6 hours a day Thursday and Friday.

Of course, you will need:

  • Relevant experience
  • An ACCEQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree,
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates andapproved Asthma andAnaphylaxis Management certificates
  • VIT Registration
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011),
