Support Worker

As a Support Worker - Catering, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals to our residents. Reporting to the Home Manager, you will work closely with the Chef/Cook to deliver a catering service that meets the individual needs of each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Chef/Cook in the preparation and delivery of daily meals and beverages.
- Work with the Care team to ensure that meals are plated and delivered to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning schedule and document any exceptional changes to resident requirements.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation to meet individual dietary needs and preferences.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in food preparation and food safety.
- Food Handling Certificate (HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices) - Desirable.
- Effective interpersonal communication and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and a willingness to learn.
