Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to play a key role in the successful management of our export operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing end-to-end solutions across multiple lines of communication with customers, offshore agents, and internal parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication Management: Timely management of multiple lines of communication, maintaining details and relaying pertinent information to appropriate parties.
  • Export Process Management: Coordination and management of the end-to-end export process, including bookings, export documentations, cartage, customs reporting, and job invoicing.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Preparation and maintenance of reports and documentation related to international logistics.
  • Customer and Transportation Challenges: Monitoring, managing, and resolving customer and transportation challenges.
  • Compliance Management: Ensuring compliance with customs, export, applicable foreign trade/import laws, and applicable transport regulations.

Requirements

  • International Operational Experience: Extensive experience within an international operational/logistics role.
  • Cyber Freight Knowledge: Cyber Freight knowledge is highly regarded.
  • Critical Thinking Skills: Critical thinking skills to navigate complex processes.
  • Multitasking and Detail-Oriented: High ability to handle multiple priorities while being detail-oriented.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Negotiation and Relationship-Building: Negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Certification: A Police Clearance (National Police Certificate) prior to interview.
