About the Role

BESIX Watpac is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Construction NSW division as a Building Cadet. This is an exciting opportunity for a university student to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the trade package tendering process, including compilation and approval of tender documents and proposed tender lists.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist with general administration of trade packages, including progress payments, variations, and final accounts.
  • Assist with general site duties, office, and administration as required.

Requirements

  • Studying a construction/building/engineering tertiary course at a recognized institution, ideally in second or third year.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and ability and willingness to learn new software packages as required.
  • Proven high level of professionalism and work ethic.
  • Proven track record and ongoing focus on timeliness, accuracy, and punctuality.
