About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant at OES, you will be responsible for:

Recruitment

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment for OES professional office-based roles, sourcing talented individuals who excel in their area of expertise and align with our values and culture.
  • Coordinating internal recruitment processes and promotions.
  • Fostering relationships with hiring managers.
  • Providing exceptional candidate care by ensuring timely responses and feedback to all applicants.

People Team Administration

  • Developing and implementing new starter onboarding processes.
  • Managing exit surveys and ensuring compliance with relevant Awards and labor laws.
  • Assisting with employment contracts and providing basic HR-related advice.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A theoretical understanding of behavioral interviewing and practical experience recruiting for various roles.
  • A strong team ethic, including the ability to acknowledge limitations and draw on others' expertise.
  • A professional approach to handling confidential matters.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Alignment with OES's values.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing basic HR advice across a range of people matters.
  • A basic understanding of employment legislation and Awards.
  • A tertiary qualification in HR or substantial progress towards completion.
