Transport Planning Leader

A leading role in transport planning, focused on strategic direction and team leadership.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Transport Planning professional to lead our national Transport Planning team. As a key member of our Advisory, Planning, and Technology Business Unit, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and mentorship to your team, as well as undertaking project management roles on large Transport Planning assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the national Transport Planning team, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for Transport Planning projects and workstreams, aligning with business unit goals and objectives.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients on complex transport challenges.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including account management and bid development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as transportation engineering or urban planning.
  • Membership and/or active involvement with industry bodies, such as the Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management (AITPM).
  • Proven experience in consulting, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Established client and industry networks, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership and strategic direction in transport planning.
