We are seeking skilled Electrical Trade Assistants to support the construction of High Voltage (HV) Substations across various project sites in NSW, covering both metropolitan and regional areas.
This role involves working away on a 10/4 roster, with travel to and from site during the 10 working days. Successful applicants will work in small teams on both greenfield and brownfield transmission sub-stations projects, assisting with primary HV works and secondary systems installation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with HV/LV cable installations, including cable trays and terminations
- Hands-on experience with primary HV & secondary systems installation, including switchgear, isolators, transformers, and control panels
- Exceptional communications and time management skills
- Willingness to assist with general site housekeeping as required
- Competency in operating, maintaining, and working safely with hand tools, small plant, and mobile equipment
- Construction White Card
- Valid Drivers Licence
- LVR/CPR Competency
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications
- High Risk Work Licence - EWP and/or Forklift
