Our organization seeks an experienced leader to fill the Assistant Director Social Work position.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of social work clinical practice standards and comprehensive clinical expertise in evidence-based interventions and services. They will also possess leadership skills in implementing professional governance, supervising social work practice, workforce education, and research.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality social work services and clinical expertise across sites
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives and change management processes
  • Managing operational responsibilities, including human resource and financial cost centre management processes
  • Providing expert-level consultancy, advocacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder relationship-building skills. A commitment to delivering safe and efficient patient-centered care aligned with organizational priorities is essential.
