Data Centre Fire Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Fire Protection Engineer to lead the design and documentation of fire protection systems for mission-critical data centre environments.
You will guide projects from concept through to construction, ensuring robust and resilient protection measures suitable for data centre operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and documenting fire protection systems for data centres
- Collaborating with architects, project managers, builders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Conducting site inspections and collaborating with contractors during construction
- Supporting risk assessments and contributing to fire engineering strategies
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in fire protection engineering within the Australian Building Services industry, a strong track record of delivering complex, high-value projects across critical infrastructure, and expertise in fire protection systems design, hydraulic calculations, and relevant codes and standards.
