Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and electronic equipment, as well as experience working in a facility maintenance or similar technical environment.

The Role:

This is a key member position within our multi-skilled team, responsible for the operation and maintenance of facility infrastructure, systems, and equipment.

  • Operate and maintain facility infrastructure, systems, and equipment.
  • Effect the day-to-day operation and maintenance of allocated facility infrastructure, equipment, and systems.
  • Execute rapid and reliable response to abnormal facility operational situations and emergencies.

You will work closely with our Facilities Operations Team and other departments to foster best-practice standards and enable reliable maintenance and operation of facility systems.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain a complete and current working understanding of all relevant facilities infrastructure, equipment, and systems.
  • Install new electrical equipment and infrastructure as requested.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Australian candidates must hold and be able to maintain an Australian 'A' Grade Electrical License.
  • US candidates must hold and maintain a minimum of a US State Journeyman's License.

Experience and Skills

  • 4 years post-trade experience.
  • Experience with diverse range of power distribution equipment highly regarded.

Physical Requirements

  • Personnel are required to be medically fit to work and safely complete all physical tasks associated with the role.

Security Clearance Requirement

It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role.
