Electrical Compliance Inspector - Solar & Battery

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Battery and Solar Electrical Inspector for our operations in Port Hedland. As a key member of our team, you will conduct inspections on solar and battery installations to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance and industry best practices.

You will use your technical expertise to assess electrical installations, identify potential risks and take corrective action to prevent electrical shocks, fires and other hazards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of solar and battery installations to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify potential risks and take corrective action to prevent electrical shocks, fires and other hazards.
  • Use specialized equipment to test and verify electrical installations.
  • Investigate serious electrical events, including shocks, fires and non-compliance.
  • Record inspection data, upload photos and complete reports instantly using a mobile device.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • WA Electrical Worker's Licence - Essential for Inspector designation
  • Eligibility to be designated as an Electrical Inspector (Electrical)
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards, Regulations and testing and checking
  • Experience or willingness to gain specialist skills in solar and battery inspection, testing and verification
  • Strong iPad and mobile reporting skills
  • Proven commitment to safety and compliance
