We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Star of the Sea Primary School.
About Us
Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School is a thriving educational institution catering for children from 3-year-old Early Learning Centre through to Year 6. We have a dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants, and administrators working together to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Job Details
This temporary position offers the opportunity to work full-time (Monday to Friday) as a Leave Cover Teacher in our Early Learning Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and shared goals
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in Early Childhood Education
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must hold:
An Early Childhood QualificationA minimum four-year primary teaching qualificationA current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA)The ability to support the Catholic ethos in your daily dutiesSalary and Benefits
