**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Professional to join our team as a Vulnerability Management Specialist. This role will involve leading the development of processes and supporting technologies to mature our department's (agency) Cyber Vulnerability Management capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document relevant processes to mature Vulnerability Management
  • Align the Vulnerability management process with relevant requirements
  • Undertake actions to discover, assess, report, act and evaluate cyber vulnerabilities
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on vulnerability status
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security measures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing cyber vulnerabilities management processes and supporting technologies to effectively discover, assess, report, act and evaluate cyber vulnerabilities
  • Proven experience in undertaking work required to discover, assess, report, act and evaluate cyber vulnerabilities

Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location (ACT, QLD, SA, VIC)
  • 12-month contract with possibility of extension
  • Work from department's offices in one of the identified locations a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance required

Selection Criteria:

  • Mandatory criteria:
    • Proven experience in developing cyber vulnerabilities management processes and supporting technologies to effectively discover, assess, report, act and evaluate cyber vulnerabilities
    • Proven experience in undertaking work required to discover, assess, report, act and evaluate cyber vulnerabilities
  • Weighted criteria:
    • Experience in aligning the Vulnerability management process with relevant requirements
    • Demonstrated experience in preparing detailed reports and presentations for management on vulnerability status
    • Ability to analyse vulnerability findings and prioritize remediation
    • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security measures
