About the Role

As a key member of our communications team, you'll collaborate with experienced professionals to develop innovative content strategies. Your expertise will span the entire content lifecycle, from conceptualization to publishing, ensuring seamless brand experiences throughout each participant's journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Oversee the production of high-quality videos, photography, and copy, utilizing in-house capabilities or collaborating with external specialists as needed.
  • Strategy Development: Work closely with our team to devise relevant strategies encompassing brand, communications, marketing, and event activation, ensuring timely content planning to support our overarching strategy.
  • Social Media Activation: Collaborate with our team to establish and implement a cohesive digital content strategy across multiple channels.
  • Spontaneous Content Creation: Be prepared to capture and share unplanned moments that resonate with our audience, fostering authentic connections.
  • Asset Management: Organize, maintain, and label a comprehensive library of digital assets (photos, videos, documents) for efficient access and retrieval.
  • Impact Stories: Craft engaging participant stories and impact narratives that inspire our supporters.
  • Collaboration with Ad Partners: Work closely with marketing leads and external ad agencies to ensure harmonious messaging and visual alignment between organic and paid content.
  • Content Optimisation for Customer Journey: Develop content and calls-to-action that inspire, engage, and convert participants at every stage of their journey, providing a seamless brand experience.
Technical Skills & Requirements
  • Social Media Platform Expertise: Skilled in managing and creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, with a deep understanding of how these audiences consume content.
  • Content Creation Tools: Proficient in Canva and familiar with video editing software (such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or others).
  • Performance Analysis: Experienced in utilising analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Meta, Data Studio, or others) to assess and optimise performance across channels.
  • AI-Enhanced Content Generation: Familiarity with AI-powered writing tools (e.g., Chat GPT, Midjourney, or similar) to generate ideas, refine copy, and adapt tone and style to align with our brand voice.
  • Versatile Skill Set: Strengths and experience across various content applications (including visual storytelling, video, graphic design, and others), both hands-on delivery (end-to-end) and leading creative consultants to deliver on a defined brief.
  • Structured & Detail-Oriented: Proven experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, or others) to bring structure and discipline to creative projects, paired with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free content.
Requirements
  • Preferred Qualifications: Degree or qualifications in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Essential: Graphic design and video editing skills, enabling a multimedia approach to content creation.
  • Preferred: Strong copywriting skills.
  • Experience Required: 5+ years in similar roles.
