We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Health Care Specialist to join our dynamic team.

About the Role
  • As a Primary Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services and client-centred care to patients in our primary health care settings.
  • You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive primary health care services, including medical consultations, health education, and disease prevention programs.
  • Collaboration and teamwork are essential skills for this role, as you will be working closely with local communities, stakeholders, and other healthcare professionals to promote health equity and address key public health events.
Requirements
  • You will have previous experience delivering primary health care services, preferably in an Aboriginal community, and hold current registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA as a Medical Officer in General Practice.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or recognised clinical experience will be highly regarded.
  • Respect for and responsiveness to Aboriginal culture and protocols is crucial for success in this role.
  • A current Driver's licence, OCHRE Card (Working with Children) or ability to apply, and valid Police Check are also required.
