Primary Health Care Clinical Coordinator

This position provides expert support to primary health care staff in implementing quality improvement processes and clinical standards, ensuring best practice and guideline development across the organization.
- Collaborate with PHC staff to apply quality improvement processes and clinical standards effectively.
- Develop initiatives aligned with best practice and the NT Aboriginal Health Forum Endorsed CQI Model, fostering a culture of excellence in healthcare delivery.
- Manage resources efficiently, including clinical equipment procurement, to optimize service delivery and enhance patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of guidelines, policy interpretation, and change management initiatives, promoting evidence-based practice.
- Travel to remote areas as required to improve service delivery and provide support to underserved communities.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligibility for same.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in Primary or Remote Health, strong decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in understanding and applying professional knowledge to provide advice and support.
- Experience in supporting local/regional policy development, interpreting policy, and contributing to change management initiatives.
- Well-developed knowledge of social and cultural factors influencing healthcare provision.
- Graduate Diploma or equivalent beyond entry-to-practice in Primary or Remote Health Care or related area for ongoing appointment.
