About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity within our team of technical services for a Field Technical Specialist with concrete technical and production experience to join our R&D and Technical team.

This is a full-time permanent position, reporting to the R&D and Technical Manager for Australia & New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing in-field concrete technical support including troubleshooting
  • Conducting laboratory trial mixes
  • Assisting customers with plant trial mixes

In addition to the above, the successful applicant will work closely with the sales team assisting with customer engagement as required.

About You

The successful applicant will have:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a concrete technical role
  • Sound understanding of raw materials used in concrete and an ability to design concrete mixes
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Materials Science or Science (or related qualifications) will be highly regarded
  • Experience in the chemical admixture industry will be highly regarded
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for sharing knowledge, flexibility, and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Current driver's licence and the ability to travel
  • Experience in concrete production and/or testing will be highly regarded
